The India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s game continued on the reserve day on September 11 as the organizers hoped that rain would stay away and everyone would enjoy a full game.

India was 147/2 in 24.1 overs with Rohit Sharma (56) and Shubman Gill (58) adding 121 runs for the opening wicket.

Pakistan landed a huge blow as Haris Rauf was confirmed not to bowl further in the match due to a side strain.

But Virat Kohli and KL Rahul continued from where they had left yesterday and despite best efforts from Babar Azam and his bowlers, the two veteran batters milked runs after the precautionary period was over.

Virat Kohli was in full flow once he settled in and went on to notch up his 47th ODI century and finished on 122 in 94 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes. He along with Rahul added an unbeaten 233 runs for the 3rd wicket as India posted 356/2 in 50 overs.

Kohli in his innings, also went past 13,000 runs in ODI cricket becoming only the second Indian after Sachin Tendulkar and 5th overall.

The cricket fraternity was all praises for Virat Kohli and his knock and shared admiration on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
