Virat Kohli didn’t have the best start to his day in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 match between India and Nepal being played at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka on September 4.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first in their maiden ODI against neighbors Nepal and Rohit Sharma revealed that Mohammad Shami had replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the Indian playing XI.

Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, and Ishan Kishan had a bad day earlier on in the field as they each dropped one catch in the first five overs.

The easiest of drops came shockingly from Virat Kohli, as he fumbled a simple straight-to-his-hand catch at the short cover on the first ball of the second over.

However, later he redeemed himself as he took a difficult one-handed catch of Aasif Sheikh who made a well-compiled 58 runs.

Sheikh mishit a shot against Mohammed Siraj in the 30th over and the ball lobbed towards the covers, where Kohli moved a couple of steps back and lept in the air to catch the ball one-handed.

Before taking this catch, Virat Kohli was also seen showing his dance moves as the DJ on the ground played a Nepali song, and the Indian cricketer was caught by cameras dancing.
