Indian squad for Asia Cup 2023 to fly out to Colombo on August 30.
The Asia Cup-bound India team has hit the ground running with the closed-door camp in Alur, where the squad members are undergoing routine fitness tests ahead of the continental event beginning August 30.
The conditioning camp is scheduled to conclude on August 29 and the India team is expected to leave for Colombo on August 30 from Bengaluru to participate in the Asia Cup.
They will open their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2, before playing Nepal on September 4. Both of India’s matches will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were seen sweating it out in the middle in a match simulation practice.
The video of both the players batting together went viral on social media in which Kohli was seen guiding the ball towards the leg-side, and on the next delivery, Jadeja executed the same shot.
