Zaka Ashraf, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board management committee, will unveil the schedule of the ACC Asia Cup 2023 on Wednesday evening, as per the PCB press release on July 18, 2023.

This comes after the meeting between the representatives of the Asian Cricket Council, which is headed by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, and the PCB.

A meeting between PCB and ACC officials was held on Saturday, July 15, to finalize the Asia Cup 2023 program, logistical and organizational plans, and marketing activities, according to a press statement issued by the PCB earlier that day.

On June 15, the ACC announced that the continental tournament would be played from August 31 to September 17. With the ACC accepting PCB's hybrid model, nine matches were supposed to be held in Sri Lanka and four in Pakistan.

However, with Zaka Ashraf taking over from Najam Sethi, there was speculation that PCB would demand more matches in Pakistan. But Arun Dhumal, IPL chairman, had recently told a news agency that the 4-9 match distribution model between Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the 2023 Asia Cup remained intact.

He also said that India and Pakistan will clash in Dambulla.
