He scored a half-century, making 59* in 44 balls with one four and 3 sixes against the minnows, showing glimpses of his return to form.
The right-hander came into the spotlight when captain Rohit Sharma handed him the ball to bowl the 17th over during HK innings. Kohli conceded 6 runs in his over, as India eventually won the match by 40 runs by restricting Hong Kong to 152/5 and secured a spot in the Super Four.
