Ravindra Jadeja once again left everyone in awe with his fielding effort.
Hong Kong skipper Nizakat Khan made the mistake to challenge him in the Asia Cup 2022 match against India on Wednesday (August 31) and paid the price for it. He was run out by Jadeja, which was possibly the best fielding display of the ongoing Asia Cup so far.
During the 6th over of Hong Kong’s innings, Nizakat pushed a delivery from Arshdeep Singh towards backward point and attempted to steal a single. However, Jadeja was quick to pick up the ball and threw it directly at the stumps.
The India all-rounder managed to beat Nizakat with his rocket throw as the Hong Kong captain failed to return to his crease on time. It was a bonus wicket for India as well since it came off a free-hit.
