Former England captain Joe Root won hearts worldwide even before stepping into the field to bat in the opening test of the historic three-match Test series against Pakistan on Thursday (December 1) with his kind gesture at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Actually, an unexpected visitor in the form of a little kitten came to see England’s training session ahead of the first Test in Rawalpindi, and Root, without wasting time, brought a cup of milk to feed the kitten in a loving gesture before engaging with the adorable feline.
In a viral video, Root was seen taking a cup of milk to feed a sweet little kitten, which showed that England batter Joe Root is not only a batting legend but also has a heart of gold.

Coming back to the match, England finished day one of the first Test against Pakistan at 506/4, with Zack Crawley (122), Ben Duckett (107), Ollie Pope (108), and Harry Brook (101*) all scoring centuries.
For Pakistan, Zahid Mahmood snared two wickets, while Mohammad Ali and Haris Rauf each scalped one wicket against England in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
