Bangladesh registered their first Test victory over New Zealand.
Bangladesh team created history as they defeated New Zealand in the first Test at Mount Maunganui to register their maiden win across the formats against the Black Caps in New Zealand.
The visitors thumped hosts by 8 wickets to register their first Test win against New Zealand. Bowling first, after winning the toss, Bangladesh bowled out the hosts for 328 runs in their first innings.
They then displayed a sensational batting performance and on account of vital half-centuries from Mahmudul Hasan Joy (78), Najmul Hossain Shanto (64), Mominul Haque (88) and Linton Das (86) posted 458 runs on the board, taking a first-innings lead of 130 runs.

Ebadot Hossain then led the charge for his side with the ball and took 6 wickets to bundle out New Zealand for just 169 runs in their second innings to get a target of just 40 runs, which they chased down with 8 wickets in hand.
After the win against New Zealand, Mominul Haque and his men were seen celebrating in their dressing room. Bangladesh cricket posted a video on their official Twitter account and captioned the video.
