New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson is proving to be a huge problem for India in the ongoing WTC 2021 Final at Southampton. The 6’8” giant has generated both swing and bounce from the Ageas Bowl surface and troubled the Indian batsmen.

He first picked 5/31 in the first innings helping Black Caps restrict India to 217 runs. He then added 21 quick runs with the bat as well, helping New Zealand make 249 and take a crucial 32-run lead.

He was at it with the ball once more, taking two crucial wickets early on day 6 of the Test. Tim Southee had already removed openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill on day 5 and Jamieson hurt India the most with the wickets of India captain Virat Kohli (13) and Cheteshwar Pujara (15).

He picked the wicket of Virat Kohli for the second time in this Test, who incidentally captains him at the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021).
