Team India will take on New Zealand in the WTC final at Southampton from June 18.
Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is one of them as he backed youngster Mohammed Siraj over experienced Ishant Sharma for the grand finale.
“Everyone has their opinions on this. If I was part of management, I would back Siraj over Ishant. Just purely on his form, he is young, raw and quick and the New Zealanders haven't played him.”
“With all due respect to Ishant, he is a senior member, he has played a number of games for India and done well but this is just one game where I will put Siraj ahead of Ishant Sharma. I could be wrong but this is what I feel,” Harbhajan told India Today on eSalaamCricket on Thursday.

Siraj along with other youngsters came into spotlight after their exceptional performances against the Aussies on their recent tour of Australia where the Indian team won its second consecutive Test series.
Thus, the off-spinner further explained his decision based on the performances of youngsters in Australia as well as in the home series against England.
“I back them purely on talent and the results they have got in recent series. They won the series in Australia, done really well in India. This is what India is all about, they don't really worry about where they are playing, they just go out and do what they do,” the 40-year-old said.
