Team India didn't face a similar situation like the first innings in Antigua Test as Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane steered the team towards a healthy score with their brilliant unbeaten partnership. In the first innings, India lacked cooperation in top order, and lower order had to add runs to take India to a safe total.

But this time Kohli, the Indian skipper stepped up on time. Both Rahane and Virat are batting unbeaten with a half-century.

Virat managed to survive Kemar Roach's tight spells and made sure the partnership remains untouched. Rahane provided ample support as the dup added 104* runs and completed their individual half-centuries as well.

Kohli and Rahane have gone past the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly for the most hundred-run partnerships for India's fourth wicket in Test cricket. This was their 8th-century stand for the 4th wicket, while Sachin and Ganguly had seven such century stands. Overall, this was the ninth 100-run stand between Virat-Rahane.

The two started their partnership when India was three down for 81, and are now looking good to take India to a good total.
