The third Test between England and New Zealand, which is being played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, sees New Zealand having the upper hand. The Kiwis posted 438 runs in the first innings thanks to the 317-run opening partnership between Tom Latham and Devon Conway.

Latham made 151 with 15 fours, while Conway smashed 157 with 22 fours and 3 sixes. However, England hit back after their wickets as only Henry Nicholls (36) and Tom Blundell (30) crossed the 20-run mark after them.

Ben Stokes picked 4/70, while Jofra Archer and Shoaib Bashir took two wickets each.

However, an interesting incident was captured on camera as Ben Stokes was seen angrily gesturing at Jofra Archer to come and join the team celebrations after Shoaib Bashir took a wicket.

Nathan Smith was caught and bowled by Bashir in the 114th over. Archer showed little interest as the players gathered in a huddle to celebrate the scalp. Stokes, the captain of England, saw that and summoned him into the huddle right away.

Multiple videos went viral on social media, and some of the fans gave the context as to why Archer was not willing to come and join Bashir’s wicket celebration. As per fans, Bashir had dropped a simple catch chance off Archer the previous over, and the pacer was angry at the spinner for costing him a wicket.

After Stokes angrily gestured at Archer to come and join the huddle, Archer agreed and also shared a high-five with Bashir, with an apology.

Meanwhile, England replied with 354 in their first innings, with Ben Duckett scoring 113, Jacob Bethell making 74, and Harry Brook making 58. Nathan Smith took 4/91, while Will O’Rourke and Zak Foulkes took three wickets each.

Ben Stokes, the captain of England, became the second player in Test cricket history to own a double of 7,000+ runs and 250 wickets, joining the select group of all-rounders that only included South Africa's Jacques Kallis.

Stokes has now taken 250 wickets at an average of 31.03 in 122 Test matches, with six five-wicket hauls and his best statistics of 6/22. In 219 innings, he has scored 7,243 runs at an average of 34.49, including 14 hundreds and 37 fifties, with a top score of 258.

Additionally, he has surpassed Matthew Hoggard (248 wickets) and become the ninth leading wicket-taker for England.
