England's Grace Scrivens was named the captain of the said team.
The team features members of the champion team India like captain Shafali Verma, opener Shweta Sehrawat, and spinner Parshavi Chopra.
Sehrawat started the tournament with a classy 92* against South Africa and then made 74* v UAE and 61* v New Zealand and finished with the highest runs in the tournament with 297 runs at an average of 99 and a strike rate of 139.43.
India’s captain Shafali Verma also makes it into the team of the tournament and she scored her runs at a strike rate of 192.35 including a belligerent 34-ball 78 against UAE which consisted of 12 fours and four sixes. She was the third-highest run-getter in the tournament with 172 runs.
Runners-up England has the most members in the XI with Grace Scrivens being named the captain of the team of the tournament. She finished as the second-highest run-getter with 293 runs, which included three fifties, at an average of 41.85.
Apart from her Hannah Baker and Ellie Anderson from England also made it into the team of the tournament. Baker took 10 wickets in the tournament and Anderson had the best figures of 5/12 in the tournament.
New Zealand’s Georgia Plimmer also made the cut thanks to her 155 runs at an average of 51.66 and her experience of playing in the New Zealand senior side shown well.
Other members of the Team of the Tournament were Sri Lanka’s Dewmi Vihanga, Shorna Akter of Bangladesh, and Karabo Meso of South Africa who was the designated wicketkeeper. Completing the XI was Australian Maggie Clark and Anosha Nasir of Pakistan was named the 12th player.
