India U19 will clash with England team in the final of the youth T20 World Cup final on Sunday.

India’s second individual Olympic gold medal winner Neeraj Chopra interacted with the youth Indian women’s team on Saturday ahead of the crucial final of the ICC U19 T20 World Cup final in Potchefstroom.

The Shafali Verma-led Indian side created history by becoming the first team to reach the final of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup. Neeraj Chopra shared some wisdom of words with the youngsters as they prepare to clash with England in the final on Sunday on January 29, 2023.

BCCI shared pictures of the Indian team interacting with Chopra, on the eve of the summit clash.

BCCI called it a ‘gold-standard’ meeting between the Indian girls and Neeraj, as Shafali and Co will hope to return home with the World Cup trophy.

In case Shafali Verma and co win the final and the U19 T20 World Cup, it will be a huge achievement for Indian women’s cricket and will inspire more girls to take up the sport.
