Jhulan came out to bat at No. 9 in the 40th over of India's innings.

Featuring in her last international match on Saturday (September 24), India’s Jhulan Goswami received a guard of honour from the England women’s cricket team in the third ODI at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The incident happened during the first innings of the match when Jhulan came out to bat at No. 9 in the 40th over.

As soon as Jhulan Goswami entered the playing arena, the England women’s cricketers formed the iconic guard of honour. They lined up to pay their respect to the legendary pacer, who has contributed over 20 years of life to international cricket.

There was also loud cheers and claps from the spectators as the turned up in big numbers to watch the action at Home of Cricket.

In her farewell match, Jhulan Goswami fell for a first-ball duck while the Women in Blue were bowled out for 169 in 45.4 overs.

Fondly known as Chakdaha Expres, Jhulan has played 12 Tests, 2014 ODIs, and 68 T20Is for India, claiming 353 wickets across formats – the most by a bowler in women's cricket.
