India bowled Pakistan out for their lowest-ever women's T20I score of 55, and then overhauled the target quite easily to clinch a massive seven-wicket victory in their Women's Asia Cup 2026 Group A clash at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday (September 5).

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana's decision to bat first backfired, as India's spinners ran riot. Shree Charani and Prema Rawat picked up three wickets each, while Deepti Sharma took two and Shafali Verma one.

The Women in Blue reached the target in just 8.4 overs, losing only three wickets, with captain Harmanpreet Kaur scoring 18 not out. This win gave India six points from three matches and secured their spot in the semifinals.

Earlier in the tournament, the Harmanpreet-led side had registered clinical wins against Thailand and Hong Kong.

The Indian cricket fraternity was all praises for India’s dominant show over arch-rivals Pakistan in the Women’s Asia Cup fixture.
