Women’s Asia Cup 2026 schedule announced; India to face Pakistan on September 5

The entire Women's Asia Cup 2026 will be played in Dubai.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC), on Thursday, August 6, 2026, announced the full schedule of the upcoming Women's Asia Cup 2026. The sixth edition of the Women's Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format, and all matches will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai from August 28 to September 13.

The eight participating teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each. After defeating India in the 2024 Women's Asia Cup final, Sri Lanka will compete against the reigning champions. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates, while Group A is made up of India, Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China.

The tournament will begin on August 28 with Thailand facing Hong Kong, China, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against the UAE on August 29, while Bangladesh will start their campaign against Indonesia on August 31.

Pakistan's remaining league-stage matchups will be against Thailand on September 1 and Hong Kong, China, on September 7.

Sri Lanka, the winners of the previous tournament in 2025, will face Indonesia on September 2 and Bangladesh on September 6, following their opening game against the UAE. Bangladesh will conclude their group round matches against the UAE on September 8, while Indonesia will also face the UAE on September 4. 

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage, with the first semifinal scheduled for September 10 and the second semifinal on September 11.

The winners of the two semifinals will meet in the final on September 13 to decide the continental champions.

4 September: UAE vs Indonesia

5 September: India vs Pakistan

6 September: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh

7 September: Pakistan vs Hong Kong, China

8 September: Bangladesh vs UAE

10 September: Semi-final 1

11 September: Semi-final 2

13 September: Final
