The Women's T20 World Cup 2026 will be played in England from June 12.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the full schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on February 24, 2026. There will be 12 teams participating in the tournament that begins on June 12 in England.
The 10th edition of the competition will take place this year from June 12 to July 5, with 12 teams competing for the title in the tournament's largest field to date.
Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands were the final four teams to secure their place in the event, having advanced via the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in Nepal last month.
The four qualifying teams now join defending champions New Zealand, who hosted and won the inaugural edition in 2009; England, the 2016 winners; the West Indies; India's current ODI World Cup winners; and six-time tournament winners Australia.
Ireland and Scotland are in Group B, which also includes England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. Meanwhile, Group A includes Australia, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.
England hosts Sri Lanka in the tournament's opening match on June 12, while Ireland and Scotland face off in an all-European encounter at Old Trafford on June 13. The final will be played at the hallowed Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on July 5.
When England takes on Scotland at Headingley on June 20, it will be the first time the two teams have met at an ICC event on English soil. India and Pakistan will clash on June 14 in Edgbaston.
