Kemar Roach ran through the England batting line-up and gave West Indies a huge first innings lead of 212 runs in the ongoing first Test at Kensington Oval, much to his delight and satisfaction.

30-year-old claimed astonishing figures of 5/17 to help his team bowl England all out for just 77 runs in response to hosts' highly respectable total of 289 on an increasingly difficult surface.

Roach was so good that he received praise even from opposition player Moeen Ali, who was one of his wickets alongside Rory Burns, Jonny Bairstow, Ben St, kes and Jos Buttler.

"He (Roach) bowled fantastically well with good pace," Moeen told the reporters present in Barbados.

Before the right-arm pacer, himself talked about his exploits and said, "Today is one of those great days against a top side, so I'm proud of my achievement. I want to do that as much as possible for as long as possible for the West Indies. It was a special, special feeling."

"We just tried to make them uncomfortable. You never expect these days but they do happen. It's all about doing it again in the final innings."

Roach's feeling will have only enhanced for the achievement came on his home ground. He has always been a highly talented fast bowler and it is no surprise that this fiery 11 over spell has been inflicted less than seven months after scalping 5-8 against Bangladesh.

West Indies ended Day 2 on 127/6 in the second innings, stretching their lead to 339 runs with still another four wickets left.
