India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs by successfully defending 119 runs.
India was asked to bat first by Pakistan captain Babar Azam and only made 119 runs in 19 overs with Rishabh Pant top-scoring with 42 runs.
In response, Pakistan had a good start of 57/1 in 10 overs, but after that, Indian bowlers tightened the noose on opposition batters. Mohammad Rizwan fell for 31 in 44 balls and Pakistan could only manage 113/7 in 20 overs, losing the game by 6 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was the star with 3/14.
As India won the game, the reserve players of the Team India squad, Avesh Khan, Khaleel Ahmed, and Rinku Singh, who were watching the action from the stands, regaled in a terrific win over the arch-rivals.

On the other hand, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who was watching from the stands as well, celebrated the win. He also couldn’t control his excitement as he was energetically punching the air with both fists and encouraged the crowd to join in on the celebrations with their roars.
