Pakistan made a miraculous comeback to reach the final of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 after being almost out of the tournament in Australia.

Pakistan had suffered two consecutive defeats against India and Zimbabwe in the first two Super 12 matches, but then they made a stunning comeback, and now they are eyeing their T20 World Cup title.

On Wednesday, November 9, Pakistan crushed New Zealand by 7 wickets in the first semi-final to make it to the final of the T20 World Cup 2022, which will be played at the MCG on Sunday (November 13).

After New Zealand vs. Pakistan semi-final, Shaheen Afridi’s pictures of him signing an autograph on the Indian flag for a fan in Sydney went viral on social media. These pictures were taken before the semi-final clash at the SCG, where the star pacer snared two wickets against New Zealand.

It reminded the fans of legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, with many saying that Shaheen is following in the footsteps of his future father-in-law, as Afridi was also seen posing with the Indian flag with a fan in 2018 during the St. Moritz Ice Cricket Tournament in Switzerland.
