Virat Kohli will celebrate his 34th birthday on November 5.
Kohli, who plays in the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with Glenn Maxwell, will celebrate his 34th birthday on November 5.
Maxwell was up for an interview with renowned sports broadcaster Neroli Meadows. He won the Player of the Match for his half-century in Australia’s narrow win over Afghanistan and appeared in good spirits when he wished his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Kohli in advance.

He said: "Yeah, so tomorrow, I just want to wish a very happy birthday to one of my very good friends, Virat Kohli. Hope you have a great day. I'll send you a text anyway. Enjoy, mate."
Maxwell joined RCB in IPL 2021, the last edition when Kohli captained the franchise and has been in very good form for them in the two seasons with 513 and 301 runs for them with 7 half-centuries to his name and the highest score of 78.
Meanwhile, Australia was asked to bat first against Afghanistan and they managed 168/8 in 20 overs with Maxwell making 54* and Mitchell Marsh making 45. Naveen Ul Haq took 3/21 for Afghanistan.
In reply, Rashid Khan made 48*, and Gulbadin Naib’s 39 took the Afghans very close to the target, but they ended up making 164/7 with Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa taking two scalps each.
Australia’s chances for the semi-finals depend on whether Sri Lanka can beat England on November 5. New Zealand has already qualified from Group 1 for the semis.
