India defeated Netherlands by 56 runs for their second win of the tournament.
Choosing to bat first after Rohit Sharma won the toss, India posted 179/2 in 20 overs as Rohit Sharma (53), Virat Kohli (62*), and Suryakumar Yadav (51*) made the runs.
In reply, Netherlands only managed 123/9 in 20 overs as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, R Ashwin, and Akshar Patel took two wickets apiece and lost the match by 56 runs. Suryakumar Yadav was named the Player of the Match for his quick half-century.

During the Netherlands innings, the cameras caught a romantic moment as a lucky Indian fan, sporting an India jersey, proposed to his girlfriend. The Indian fan was seen going down on his knees and handing over the ring to his girlfriend. And much to his delight, his woman said yes. The broadcasters captured the heartwarming moment on the big screen.

Meanwhile, India will next face South Africa on Sunday in Perth in another crunch match for both the teams.
