India will play Pakistan in their first T20 World Cup 2022 encounter on October 23 at MCG.
Team India is already in Perth, Australia to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. Although the Indian batters have been in top form, it will be up to the bowling department, which will be sans Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja, to be at their best on the grandest stage.
Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spinner, will be one of the players to watch out on in the tournament. Although he has participated in more than 60 T20Is, he is yet to play in a T20 World Cup.
The 32-year-old has 4 wickets to his name in 3 T20Is down under. As a result, he has had some experience playing in Australian conditions that favor pacers more than tweakers.
He expressed his confidence in having a successful World Cup during a recent interview on his popular show Chahal TV for BCCI.TV.

"It is exciting because a World Cup is a World Cup after all. I have been here before and have done well so I know the conditions and the grounds. Once our training starts, we will start planning the kind of deliveries that will work here accordingly," he said.
The leggie further explained how he intends to take advantage of the conditions on offer down under.
"When there's a bounce in the wicket, you need not bowl fast as you can focus on bowling the top spinner. The batters might not always connect cross-batted shots here so as bowlers we are always in the game," he added.
Before high-octane India vs Pakistan clash on October 23 at the ‘G, the Men in Blue will take on play two warm-up matches against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19 respectively.
