T20 World Cup 2021: WATCH- Sachin Tendulkar’s prediction of how Aaron Finch will be dismissed comes true

Aaron Finch was out LBW to Shaheen Afridi, as predicted by Tendulkar.

Former India batter Sachin Tendulkar’s experience and ability to pick nuances is second to none, and it once again came true as he rightfully predicted how Pakistan bowlers could dismiss Australia captain Aaron Finch before their T20 World Cup 2021 semifinal clash.

Tendulkar in the video mentioned that he would like to see a tussle between Aaron Finch and Shaheen Afridi, adding that if the Australia skipper tries to play the pacer across the line early in the innings, he will either be trapped LBW or bowled.

And after Australia came out to chase the 177-run target, Shaheen Afridi did exactly that and trapped the Aussie skipper in front of the stumps. The former India cricketer then shared the video on his Instagram story and wrote: "You get them right sometimes."

Pakistan's stellar run in the T20 World Cup came to an end after the side endured their first defeat against Finch and co in Dubai on Thursday. After being invited to bat first, Pakistan posted a challenging 176/4 in 20 overs thanks to fifties from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan.

In reply, after Warner’s 49, Matthew Wade hit a blistering 41*, hitting three consecutive sixes to seal the match for Australia and booking their place in the final where they will clash against New Zealand on Sunday.
