T20 World Cup 2021: WATCH- “You’ve got the whole of India behind you here”- Scotland keeper Cross eggs his bowler on

Matthew Cross said Indian fans will be cheering for Scotland vs NZ.

Scotland and New Zealand clashed in the 32^nd match of the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai and it is a match in which India has quite an interest. If Scotland defeats New Zealand, it makes it a bit easy for the Men in Blue to qualify for the semi-finals, granted they win all of their remaining matches.

Scotland won the toss and chose to bowl first in Dubai and picked two wickets in the 5^th over getting rid of Daryl Mitchell and skipper Kane Williamson for 35 runs on the board. Devon Conway followed shortly after in the 7^th over leaving New Zealand 52/3. However, Martin Guptill hit a good half-century and along with Glenn Phillips steadied the ship.

Even the Scotland team knows that Indian fans will be cheering them on and keeper Matthew Cross used this to raise the spirits of his spinner, Chris Greaves, during the 8^th over, saying, “You’ve got the whole of India behind you here.”
