Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar made big speculation that there might be two camps in the Indian team; one against the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and another with him. His comment came after India's disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup 2021.

India have lost both the first two matches, against Pakistan and New Zealand. Their chances for the semi-final now highly depend on other teams, even if they manage to win the remaining three Super 12 matches.

Speaking in a video on his Youtube channel, Akhtar said that we should respect Kohli as he is a great cricketer, despite his poor decisions in the first two matches.

“Why I can see that there are two camps within the team? One is with the Kohli and one against Kohli. It's crystal clear. The team is looking divided. I don't know why this is happening. Maybe it's because of his last T20 World Cup as a skipper. Maybe he made wrong decisions, which is true. But he's a great cricketer, and we have to respect him,” he said.

Akhtar further spoke about Team India's body language after losing the toss and he felt they accepted their defeat after the outcome of the toss going against them.

"Yes, criticism is important because they played bad cricket against New Zealand and had the wrong attitude. Yesterday, after they lost the toss, everyone's heads were down.

"They had no idea whatsoever. India, you only lost the toss by that time, not the whole match. They were just present there, and had no gameplan whatsoever." he concluded.
