Ramiz Raja had said an investor has promised PCB a blank cheque if Pakistan defeats India in 2021 T20 World Cup.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja is being asked by the fans about the 'blank cheque' he was promised by an investor if they beat India in the T20 World Cup 2021. On Sunday (October 24), Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets and registered their first win over the arch-rivals in an ICC World Cup event.
"PCB runs 50 percent on the funding of ICC. 90 percent of funding to ICC comes from India. I’m afraid that if India stopped funding ICC, then PCB might collapse because PCB gives zero percent funding to ICC," Cricket Pakistan quoted Ramiz.
"I am determined to make Pakistan cricket strong. One strong investor told me that a blank cheque is ready for the PCB if Pakistan beats India in the upcoming T20 World Cup," Ramiz had informed.
