In what comes as a good news for the Indian team, all-rounder Hardik Pandya is fit to play their next match in the T20 World Cup 2021 against New Zealand on October 31 in Dubai.
Pandya suffered a blow on his right shoulder when facing Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi in Sunday's clash. Hardik was visibly in some pain but carried on batting before getting dismissed for 11 in 8 balls while trying to score some quick runs for the team in the final over.

Speaking to ANI, sources in the know of developments said Pandya is already feeling better. "There is no issue and he is already feeling good. It was just a precautionary scan and the team management didn't wish to take a chance as yesterday was only the first game of the tournament."
Pandya did not take the field and underwent a precautionary scan as confirmed by the BCCI.
"Hardik Pandya was hit on his right shoulder while batting. He has now gone for scans," the BCCI's media team informed.
India lost their first-ever World Cup match to Pakistan by 10 wickets and the Virat Kohli-led side would look to bounce back when they take the field next Sunday against New Zealand at the same venue.
