India has beaten Pakistan in all the 5 meetings in T20 World Cup, and 7 times in 50-over World Cup.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan, who's also a World Cup-winning captain, is backing Pakistan to defeat India in the 2021 T20 World Cup match on Sunday (October 24). Khan confidently said that the current Pakitan team has what it takes to defeat the Indian cricket team.
Going into the Super 12, Team India boasts an unbeaten winning streak over Pakistan in World Cup tournaments. They have defeated Pakistan 5 times in the T20 World Cup, and 7 times in the 50-over World Cup.

In a statement to Geo TV, Khan was quoted saying, "This team has the talent to defeat India. Insha'Allah, Pakistan will definitely beat India tomorrow."
Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam had also said that they are capable of beating India. "To be honest, what has passed is beyond us. We want to use our ability and confidence on the day of the match so that we can get a better result."
"Records are meant to be broken," Babar said in a pre-match press conference.
India and Pakistan are going to face each other first time after the 2019 World Cup. They don't play bilateral series due to political issues, and only clash in the ICC events.
This is the first and last time Virat Kohli is leading India in the T20 World Cup tournament. However, he has led India in a couple of ICC events before. But Babar is captaining Pakistan for the first time in a World Cup.
