India have won both their warm-up matches by a convincing margin against England and Australia.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan called Team India as the new 'hot favorites' to win the 2021 T20 World Cup after their performance in the warm-up matches. India defeated England and then Australia in their warm-up matches ahead of the tournament.
"The way India are playing the warm up games suggests they may be now Hot favourites to Win the #T20WorldCup !!!", tweeted Vaughan after India's comfortably 8-wicket win over Australia on Wednesday (October 20).

The ex-India cricketer Wasim Jaffer reacted to Vaughan's post with a hilarious meme from the famous Hindi sitcom, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma. The lead character 'Jethalal' and 'Goli' feature in the meme.
Usually, in the show, Jethalal tells Goli not to spoil the situation for his fun. Fans who got the funny reference were in splits and knew Jaffer was telling Vaughan not to jinx India's winning run.
India were captained by Rohit Sharma in their second warm-up match and Virat Kohli only took the field to bowl. While chasing 153 runs, Rohit Sharma (60 retired off 41) and KL Rahul (39 off 31) snatched the game completely out of Australia's hands. Suryakumar Yadav was asked to bat at number 3 and he scored unbeaten 38 runs as India won the match in 17.5 overs.
