MS Dhoni will not be charging any fee for mentoring the Indian cricket team.
Former India captain MS Dhoni joined the Team India camp ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE and Oman. BCCI has offered him a new role and he will be with the team as a mentor throughout the tournament.
The official Twitter account of BCCI posted pictures of Dhoni with the team support staff on Sunday (October 17). Dhoni, who recently led Chennai Super Kings to their fourth IPL title, was seen having a chat with the batting coach Vikram Rathour and head coach Ravi Shastri.
"Extending a very warm welcome to the KING @msdhoni is back with #TeamIndia and in a new role!", wrote BCCI.

Fans on social media were delighted after seeing Dhoni back in blue, although his role wouldn't be the same. India's campaign starts on October 24 with a clash against Pakistan, but before that Kohli and company will play a couple of warm-up matches against England and Australia.
Dhoni's experience of leading the team in major ICC events over the years will come in handy. Interestingly, the 40-year-old is not charging any fee for mentoring the team.
