India to face Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai in T20 World Cup 2021.
The first shot ahead of this high-intensity shot was taken by India spinner Harbhajan Singh as he took a slight jibe at Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar. He told Akhtar that there is no point in Pakistan playing India in the T20 World Cup. Harbhajan said that Pakistan has always lost to India and then Akhtar will get upset and hence should give India a walkover.
"I have told Shoaib Akhtar, what is the point of Pakistan playing, you should give us a walkover, you will play, you will again lose, you will be upset. Our team is very solid, very strong, they will easily beat you guys,” Harbhajan said while speaking to Star Sports.
The Men’s Cricket T20 World Cup — which is the first mega event that ICC is hosting since the pandemic — is scheduled between October 17 and November 14 in the UAE and Oman.
India will play warmup matches against England and Australia before the high-voltage clash, while Pakistan will face West Indies and South Africa in warmup clashes.
