Pakistan is yet to qualify for the Super 8s round of T20 World Cup 2026.
With only the top two teams from each group qualifying for the Super 8, Pakistan (4 points, 3 matches, NRR -0.403) faces a must-win position in their final group stage match against Namibia. India (6 points, 3 games, NRR +3.050) advances to the next stage, while the United States (4 points, 4 games, NRR +0.788) finishes second.
However, Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan is confident that the Men in Green will be in Colombo till the finals, as he said when he was asked about their chances in the tournament.
"So, you are here till the semi-finals?" a fan asked, probably indicating the side's matches in Sri Lanka.
In reply, Shadab says, "Till the final."
The exact time the video was filmed is unknown; however, it is very plausible that it was taken prior to the India match. However, the fact that the video became viral or resurfaced following India's 61-run hammering has rendered Shadab the focus of vicious trolling online.
