India registered their biggest win by runs against Pakistan in T20Is.
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has gone viral for his intense aura farming moment during Men in Blue’s crushing 61-run win over Pakistan on Sunday, February 15, at the RPS ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026.
India and Pakistan clashed in a much-hyped match that saw India batting first after Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and surprisingly chose to field first.
Thanks to 77 by Ishan Kishan and contributions by Suryakumar Yadav (32), Tilak Varma (25), and Shivam Dube (27), India posted 175/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, Pakistan lost Sahibzada Farhan in the first over itself, caught by Rinku Singh off Hardik Pandya. When Farhan dismissed him, Pandya reacted coldly, without even turning to see if the catch had been made.
The footage shows that after Farhan mistimed a pull shot on the fourth ball of the first over, the ball went in the air, and Hardik Pandya didn’t even turn to see the ball, confident that the fielder would catch it.
Rather, Pandya seems to approach with a relaxed gait, seemingly confident that the catch will be made. After Rinku Singh completes the catch, many Indian players rush towards Pandya, but Pandya does not celebrate with much fanfare.
