Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma caused mayhem at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on November 15, 2024, during the ongoing fourth and final T20I.
India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bat first. Both sides came into this match with an unchanged XI.
Abhishek Sharma (36 in 18) added 73 runs with Sanju Samson for the opening wicket inside powerplay overs. However, after Abhishek was dismissed by Lutho Sipamla, Tilak Varma joined Samson and the duo went after the leather brutally.
Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson hit 19 sixes in between them as they added a record 210* for the second wicket. Varma hammered his second consecutive T20I ton in 41 balls, while Sanju Samson hit his second century in this series and third T20I overall.

India became the first full-member nation to have two centurions in the same T20I innings and this was the highest T20I total at the Wanderers stadium, the highest T20I total against South Africa and in South Africa.
