India’s Virat Kohli was enjoying himself during the South Africa innings in the ongoing second and final Test of the series. This encounter is being played in Cape Town with South Africa leading the series 1-0.

South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. Tristan Stubbs made his Test debut, while Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj were also included in XI. On the other hand, India brought in Ravindra Jadeja for R Ashwin and Mukesh Kumar replaced Shardul Thakur in the XI.

Mohammed Siraj ran through the South Africa batting lineup like a hot knife cuts butter. He picked the top three Proteas batters to reduce opposition to 15/4 in 9.2 overs. And then returned to take three more wickets to finish with figures of 6/15 as South Africa was bowled out for 55 runs.

In addition, Jasprit Bumrah took 2/25 and Mukesh Kumar chipped in with two wickets without conceding a run in his 2.2 overs.

Meanwhile, as South Africa was struggling to find some runs and batters looked for partnership amidst the carnage, Keshav Maharaj came out to bat at no.8. As he approached the crease, the DJ at the ground began playing ‘Ram Siya Ram’ song.

This song was played whenever Keshav Maharaj came out to bat during the recent ODI series between South Africa and India.

When the song was being played, Virat Kohli, who was stationed at first slip was seen taking the bow and arrow pose and also welcomed Maharaj to the crease with a Namaste.
