India to play South Africa in second Test in Cape Town from January 3.

India and South Africa will play the second and final Test of the series at the Newlands in Cape Town from January 3 onwards. India is trailing the series 0-1 after a humiliating innings and 32-run loss in first Test in Centurion.

That loss ended India’s chances of a maiden Test series win in South Africa and now they will aim to win this second Test to level the series and avoid a series loss.

One bright spot for India in their loss in first Test was Virat Kohli, who ended the year 2023 with 38 and 76 runs in the match.
