Young South African batter Dewald Brevis and Indian player Tilak Varma’s recent meet-up grabbed the headlines as the Mumbai Indians (MI) duo’s camaraderie won the hearts of fans.
Varma is currently on the South Africa tour with Team India for the ongoing three-match ODI series. After the first ODI in Johannesburg, Brevis hosted Varma at his residence in South Africa.
The Indian batter took to his social media handles to share a glimpse of their reunion and even called Brevis his brother. In the heartwarming post, Tilak was delighted to meet his MI teammate’s family, as he captured the moments spent with Brevis and his family.
Tilak and Brevis also enjoyed a game of table tennis, and even the Indian star can be seen flexing his spin bowling in the nets.

Notably, Dewald Brevis and Tilak Varma both will be seen in action for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. On the other hand, the second ODI between India and South Africa will be played on Tuesday, December 19.
