Brar pulled off an incredible caught-and-bowled during the 17th over of the Kiwi innings.
India pacer Gurnoor Brar plucked an absolute blinder of a return catch with his non-dominant left hand to dismiss New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tom Latham in the first ODI at Eden Park, Auckland on Wednesday (November 4).
During the 17th over of the Kiwi innings, Brar pulled off an incredible caught-and-bowled. He bowled a full delivery around the off-stump, inducing Latham to push half-forward and drive down the ground. The ball turned slightly on contact with the bat and chipped right back towards the left side of the bowler.
Displaying rapid, elite-level reflexes on his follow-through, the tall speedster stuck out his left hand and literally snatched the ball out of thin air behind him. The commentators and fans heavily praised the effort, especially noting that Brar grabbed the catch using his non-dominant hand.
The stunning fielding effort sent Latham packing for just 3 runs off 11 balls, reducing New Zealand to a precarious 84/4.

During the 15th over, Gurnoor Brar had also claimed the prized scalp of New Zealand opener Tim Seifert for 38. Earlier in the match, left-arm quick Arshdeep Singh dismissed Will Young and Henry and Nicholls for 9-run each to leave the hosts reeling at 40/2.
