India ODI captain Shubman Gill has arrived in New Zealand along with KL Rahul and other 50-over format stars ahead of the five-ODI series that begins on November 4. Currently, the Shreyas Iyer-led Indian side is 3-0 up in the ongoing five-game T20I series.

Ahead of the fourth game of the T20I series, which is to be played in Auckland on October 4, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and others were seen interacting with the T20 squad players during practice sessions.

India's ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill made headlines during the practice session when he was seen sporting Temple, a state-of-the-art AI fitness tracker created by Deepinder Goyal.

The Temple device, which was previously spotted on badminton player PV Sindhu, is supposed to monitor cerebral blood flow, nervous system responses, and cognitive stress levels under exertion. It is positioned just above the eyes across the forehead. Although there are various fitness tracking gadgets on the market, such as watches, rings, and wristbands, it's unclear how the "Temple" device differs from them.

Gill wore the "Temple" device during his Auckland practice, according to a story in RevSportz. The decision to employ the technology has not yet been made officially by the Indian stalwart.

Virat Kohli is anticipated to join the team soon, and former captain Rohit Sharma has already arrived in Auckland. The conditions in New Zealand are anticipated to provide India with the closest test since the ODI World Cup will be held in South Africa next year.

Auckland will host the fourth T20I on October 30 and then the first ODI on November 4.
