As part of the shadow tour of the Test series, Sony Sports will broadcast the three four-day matches that India A will play in New Zealand. The dates of the games for the Dhruv Jurel-led team are October 24–27, October 31–November 3, and November 7–10.

The Cricbuzz report stated that sources claim that Sony Sports, which owns the Indian cricket rights in New Zealand, will both produce and broadcast the games.

It is unprecedented for India A tour games in New Zealand to be televised; however, it seems that Sony Sports decided to broadcast the games because of the presence of several elite players.

The games at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln, Hagley Oval in Christchurch, and Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln, again, will begin at 3.30 a.m. IST. Sony sources have verified that all three matches will be broadcast live. Sony will also broadcast the remaining India matches on the tour: five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Tests.

On certain days, there will be both India internationals (a T20I or an ODI) and an India A game; both will, of course, be broadcast live.

Dhruv Jurel will lead the India A team, which includes Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, and Sai Sudharsan, among others, as they depart Bengaluru for New Zealand on October 18.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the Center of Excellence (CoE) staff, who ordinarily manage the India A series, will handle the team's tasks in New Zealand. In reality, the support staff who traveled to Japan for the Asian Games will be part of the squad.

There is no word yet on whether VVS Laxman, the Indian team's head coach at the Asian Games, will travel to New Zealand. However, Hrishikesh Kanitkar (batting coach), Lakshmipathy Balaji (pace bowling coach), and Sunil Joshi (spin bowling coach), along with physio Thulasi and trainer Harrsha, will accompany the India A team.
