Styris wanted Chopra to join him for a drink as New Zealand are dominating the series.
New Zealand defeated India by 10 wickets in the first Test in Wellington and that sparked a banter on Twitter between ex-cricketers. Former cricketers, now a commentator, Scott Styris and Aakash Chopra engaged in banter on social media.
Styris had gone on a vacation to Dubai after the first Test match ended in just four days. "Thank you @blackcapsnz, a couple of days off after the test means a quick holiday in Dubai #goonthen #1-0," his post read.

The ex-Kiwi batsman tried to take a jibe at Chopra, as he tagged him and wrote, "Where are you @cricketaakash come join me for a celebratory 2nd test victory drink."
But Styris got roasted badly when Aakash came up with his reply. "Let’s catch up for a drink at Lord’s for the finals of WTC Hugging face #IndvAus," he wrote, hinting that Kiwis won't make it to the World Test Championship final at Lord's.
