NZ v IND 2020: Virat Kohli's early dismissal saw extreme reaction from fans on Twitter

Kohli was dismissed scoring just 2 runs in the first innings at Wellington.

Captain Virat Kohli had to walk out early in the first innings of opening Test against New Zealand after India lost two wickets on just 35 runs. Fans had high hopes from him, but it ended in a huge disappointment. 

Kyle Jamieson, the Kiwi debutant made an impact with the ball on the first day as he picked up three wickets, including Kohli's priceless scalp.

Kohli ended up nicking a ball outside off stump in the hands of first slip, an old problem of the modern great. He had to return scoring just two runs off seven balls. India ended the day with 122/5 as the third session was washed out because of rain.

The early dismissal of Kohli triggered fans on social media. A sudden question was raised among the fans whether Virat's recent form is worth keeping him among the top batters around the world currently?
