Six teams per gender will compete for medals in Olympics Games in 2028.
The women's and men's medal matches are scheduled on July 20 and 29, respectively.
The announcement is yet another significant milestone for the sport, which will be participating in its second Olympic Games, 128 years after Great Britain won gold in a one-off match versus France in Paris in 1900.
Each tournament will have 90 athlete quotas, allowing nations to select squads of 15 athletes, and six teams per gender will compete for medals.
The Pomona Fairplex, which is roughly 50 kilometers from downtown Los Angeles, will host all of the games. On the majority of matchdays, the format consists of doubleheaders, with games starting at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM local time.
Cricket's inclusion in the Olympics is yet another significant advancement in the sport's globalization, and the game will be celebrated on one of the biggest athletic platforms in the world.
Although it has not yet been decided, the LA28 Olympic qualification process will probably be covered at the ICC's Annual Conference in Singapore beginning on July 17.
