Mohammed Siraj clears air after rumors of dating Zanai Bhosle, grand-daughter of Asha Bhosle

Mohammed Siraj is currently out of Indian team after underwhelming performance in BGT 2024-25.

India pacer Mohammed Siraj was rumored to be dating legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle after a photo of the two went viral on social media.

Zanai, a young singer known for her lovely vocals, posted a series of photos on Instagram from her 23^rd birthday. Surprisingly, Siraj appeared with her in one of the photos. In the photo, the two were seen laughing together.

The photo quickly spread across the internet, with many admirers presuming the two were dating. Before the rumors could cause difficulty, Zanai cleared the air about her relationship with Siraj. She posted a text on the photo calling Siraj “Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother)".

Zanai took to her Instagram story to share her post, mentioning Siraj. The pacer also re-mentioned, calling her "meri behna".

Mohammed Siraj was shockingly dropped from the Indian squad for the ongoing T20I series and the following ODI series against England. Siraj was also not named in India’s tentative ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squad.
