The ongoing Delhi Premier League has witnessed some amazing performances from India’s young cricketers. But the match between South Delhi Superstarz and North Delhi Strikers hogged the limelight for some jaw-dropping exploits.

South Delhi Superstarz racked up 308/5 in their allotted 20 overs - which is the highest total in a T20 match. However, it won’t be considered a record since the tournament is listed as official T20 cricket.

As of today, Sunrisers Hyderabad's 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2024 is the highest total in a T20 match. On the other hand, Nepal's 314/3 against Mongolia is the highest in T20 internationals.

The games saw Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya scoring whirlwind centuries. During his knock, Priyansh also smashed six sixes in an over.

Left-arm spinner Manan Bharadwaj was at the receiving end of Priyansh’s carnage in the 12th over of South Delhi's innings. All the sixes landed straight either towards long-on or long-off.

Eventually, Priyansh slammed 120* off 50 balls, studded with 10 fours and as many sixes at a strike rate of 240. Badoni, his batting partner at the other end, made 165* off 55 balls, hitting 8 fours and 10 sixes at a strike-rate of 300.

Priyansh and Badoni shared a partnership of 286 from 103 balls, which is the highest partnership for any wicket in T20 cricket. Thanks to their scintillating display, South Delhi Superstarz posted a colossal 300+ runs on the board.
