Hanuma Vihari and the ACA were embroiled in a bitter altercation.
The India international, who has played 16 Tests for his country, was caught in a verbal spat with the state association, prompting the ACA to issue him a show-cause notice in March of this year.
Vihari was abruptly replaced as Andhra's captain after only one game and the 30-year-old blamed 'political intervention' as the reason for his resignation. Following the outburst, the ACA served as a show-cause, to which Vihari reacted by requesting that an NOC to swap associations.
Vihari has also requested a transfer away from Andhra Pradesh ahead of the 2023-24 season, with various reports indicating the former India player wanted to join Madhya Pradesh.
“I have been asking for NOC for 2 months, mailed them 4 times. Didn’t give my NOC. Now that things have turned, they’ve issued my NOC immediately. lol,” Vihari wrote on X.
