Maxwell had to visit the hospital for injuries after pub visit on Friday in Adelaide.
The all-rounder wasn’t kept at the medical facility overnight and has already resumed training ahead of the T20I series against the West Indies, starting February 9, the Australian media reported ahead of the second Test match.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Maxwell was out drinking at a concert in Adelaide and was taken in an ambulance to a hospital where he received treatment after suffering a fall. The exact nature of the health concern has not yet been identified.
But Maxwell’s manager, Ben Tippett, stated that the cricketer is a bit embarrassed but is now training in Melbourne. He clarified that Maxwell was a bit sore but is not under investigation by Cricket Australia.
"Glenn is a little embarrassed by the whole thing. He was a bit sore and sorry on Saturday, but he's back in Melbourne and resumed training yesterday. He's not under investigation by Cricket Australia," Tippett was quoted as saying by ANI.

Cricket Australia clarified that the fall incident is unrelated to Maxwell's replacement in the ODI squad, emphasizing the decision was based on workload management.
"Cricket Australia is aware of an incident involving Glenn Maxwell in Adelaide at the weekend and is seeking further information," a statement said. It is not related to him being replaced in the ODI squad, a decision that was made following the BBL and based on his individual management plan. Maxwell is expected to return for the T20 series. No further comment will be made at this time,” CA said in a statement.
Australia captain Pat Cummins reacted to Glenn Maxwell’s incident and said that the cricketer has to own his decisions and be comfortable with them.
"We're all adults, been part of night outings, you have got to make your own decisions. I suppose in this actual incident, he was not on tour with the Australians, he was over there for a private event, and he was not with the cricket team. So, it is a little bit different. Absolutely, any decision that you make, you have got to own it and be comfortable with it," Cummins said in a press conference ahead of Australia's second Test match at the iconic Gabba.
Maxwell, currently not part of the Test squad against the West Indies and omitted from the ODI series to manage workload amid Big Bash League (BBL) commitments, is expected to return for the T20Is starting from February 9.
