The tri-series featuring India, England & South Africa is slated to get underway on 29th December, with the final scheduled for 10th January.
After the tri-series, the India U-19 team will begin preparations for the much-awaited ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup.
Uday Saharan will lead India's 15-man squad with Saumy Kumar Pandey named his deputy for the tri-series and the World Cup.
Five-time champions India will begin their campaign against Bangladesh in Bloemfontein on January 20.
India, the winner of the last edition of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, are slotted in Group A along with Bangladesh, Ireland and the USA. Group B consists of England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland.
Group C features Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia while Group D is made up of Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand and Nepal.
The top three sides from each group will progress to the Super Six phase of the event ahead of the semi-finals and final.
